Software I Use

Here is a list of the software I use on a daily basis on my Debian Linux system. I prefer to use free software as it is community driven instead of owned by big tech. It also has many other advantages such as the code being auditable which leads to more secure software. For more information on free software see this GNU article


Rhythmbox is a music player for the GNOME desktop environment, however it works well on KDE too. It is inspired by Apple's proprietary iTunes.


My preferred communication tool is Matrix. It is an open-source and decentralized protocol for messaging. It offers many features such as rich text formatting, reactions, etc. Element is the standard client for matrix however there are different clients avaliable such as FluffyChat.
